Marks Sattin Executive Search is partnering with a dynamic, PE-backed consumer facing business to identify a high-calibre Finance Director. This hybrid role will be instrumental in driving the business' continued expansion, shaping its strategic direction, and positioning the business for a successful exit.

The Finance Director will play a key role in crafting and executing financial strategies that enhance growth and profitability. Acting as a strategic partner at the board level, they will provide commercial, financial, and operational insights to ensure the business meets its objectives. Additionally, they will support site expansion initiatives by identifying and assessing new locations using clear and measurable evaluation criteria.

Key responsibilities include delivering executive-level strategy through in-depth performance analysis, forecasting, and reporting. The role also involves leading a high-performing finance team, optimising financial and IT systems for efficiency, and maintaining strong financial controls to support the Group's ongoing growth.

The ideal candidate:

  • Be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA)
  • Proven experience as a Divisional CFO, Finance Director or Head of Finance in a multi-site, PE-backed business within the consumer-facing sectors, ideally with a track record of successfully leading a business through an exit or sale process
  • Hands on with a keen eye for detail and considerable technical and commercial awareness
