Finance Manager (Commercial/FP&A) - Hybrid Working

The details
Our client - an exciting professional services business based in Cheshire are seeking a experienced Finance Manager who can support the Group FD in changing the landscape of the finance function to introduce a culture of business partnering and further develop FP&A reporting throughout the business.
More widely your key responsibilities will be as follows:
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Finance Director in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Deputise for the Finance Director when required.
- Develop and oversee financial systems and procedures, identifying areas for improvement.
- Manage and update the management accounts reporting model.
- Support the Management Accountant in producing monthly management accounts with clear analysis and narrative.
- Oversee risk management, compliance, and regulatory reporting, including VAT returns, and payroll reviews.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, legal requirements, and company policies.
- Manage the annual audit process, liaising with stakeholders for a smooth execution.

- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.
