Our client - an exciting PE backed business based in Central Manchester re seeking a experienced Finance Manager who can support the CFO in changing the landscape of the finance function to further develop FP&A reporting throughout the business.
This role will help tranform the finance function, introducing a cultire of business partnering and initially take responsibility over the management accounting/reporting for the business alongside overseeing a small team.
More widely your key responsibilities will be as follows:
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Finance Director in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Deputise for the Finance Director when required.
- Develop and oversee financial systems and procedures, identifying areas for improvement.
- Manage and update the management accounts reporting model.
- Oversee risk management, compliance, and regulatory reporting, including VAT returns, and payroll reviews.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, legal requirements, and company policies.
- Manage the annual audit process, liaising with stakeholders for a smooth execution.

- A proactive approach to process improvement and efficiency.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.
