Start your job searchMarks Sattin are working in partnership with a Global Consultancy based in Abingdon to recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. A role that would suit a qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) accountant with strong management accounting principles and a keen eye on the commercials. An opportunity to join a strong division of a large group and drive performance.
The Finance Manager position will be paying between £55,000 and £65,000 per annum and excellent benefits with hybrid working options.
The Finance Manager Role
This is a great opportunity to support finance and non-finance stakeholders to drive performance and delivery of key financial targets. Not only producing the numbers but bringing them alive and telling the story. Key responsibilities include:
- Production of monthly management accounts including base commentary
- Financial analysis on key projects determining performance versus budget and areas of opportunity/improvement
- Variance analysis
- Business partner with non-finance stakeholders within the division
- Aid in the budgeting and forecasting process
- Technical groundwork for audit (standard compliance areas)
Key Skills and Experience
- Qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
- Strong analytical skills and keen eye for detail
- Ability to communicate with non-finance stakeholders
- Intermediate Excel (pivot tables, V-lookups etc.)
