Marks Sattin are delighted to be partnering with a leading North West business to recruit for a Finance Manager on an permanant basis.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a challenging and demanding environment and be adaptable to changing priorities.
You will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts for store operating expenses. You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders and other departments to ensure you are up to date with the latest business developments. The role will involve leading and supporting a team of 3 to deliver this.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the preparation of the monthly management accounts for operating expenses
- Assessing accuracy of accruals/prepayments and challenging assumptions
- Complete detailed variance analysis, with supporting commentary and evidence for any variances to budget
- Production of monthly reporting pack for operating costs to be presented to the Financial Controller and Head of Finance
- Responsible for submitting accurate and timely submissions to Group
- Implementation of controls in line with the Group's Financial controls programme
- Assist with audit queries
- Ad hoc project work as required
About you:
- Experience in a similar role is essential;
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified;
- Experience working in a fast paced environment;
- Advanced excel skills;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
