**Role Overview:**

This is a newly created Finance Manager role for a challenging contract within a property management group. This position involves ensuring the right level of governance, processing transactions accurately, and driving new processes to manage a high-volume contract with numerous historic buildings.

**Responsibilities:**

- Managing 10 direct reports inc. accountants/transactional staff

- Embed within the team and update processing methods.

- Ensure governance, including time sheets and processes, are correctly implemented and maintained.

- Manage comprehensive funds, minimizing risk, and charging clients accurately.

- Handle month-end closing and management accounting.

- Lead a team including a Lead Contract Support and dotted-line oversight of other team members.

- Innovate and work proactively with the operating team to enhance efficiency and processes.

- Address commercial challenges and volume of bids to control contract performance.

- Foster a positive culture amidst team changes and rebuild trust and relations.

**Requirements:**

- 2-3 years PQE with significant management accounting experience.

- Experience in high-volume transactions and month-end processes.

- Strong governance and compliance skills.

- Ability to work on-site with the team, initially 4 days a week, potentially moving to hybrid (3 days a week) once settled.

- Proactive, driven, and capable of innovating within challenging roles.
