Marks Sattin are working with a rapidly growing, PE backed SME based on the outskirts of Nottingham who are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team and oversee all aspects of the accounting function.

Reporting directly into the CFO, this is an exciting and varied role that offers real responsibility and serious potential for career progression.

Role Includes:

• Preparing monthly management accounts.
• Leading budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Providing variance analysis with commentary.
• Managing VAT returns, payroll journals, and other statutory requirements.
• Monitoring cash flow and working capital, ensuring liquidity for day-to-day operations.
• Preparing financial packs and analysis for Board and investor/lender meetings.
• Supporting pricing strategies and commercial analysis on new products or services.
• Building and managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including the Board, Leadership Team, customers, suppliers, investors, lenders, banks, auditors, tax advisors and insurers.

If You Have:

• Proven experience preparing management accounts
• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Experience in a similar role (ideally within an SME environment)
• Strong communication skills and an ambitious attitude
• Fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) is preferred. Strong QBEs considered
