The details
We are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing business which is looking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on finance professional seeking a varied role with genuine responsibility and the opportunity to develop their career.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take ownership of day-to-day finance activities while supporting management reporting and commercial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Managing purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control.
Processing weekly and monthly payroll.
Assisting with monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management.
Preparing VAT returns and managing CIS requirements.
Completing bank reconciliations and supplier payments.
Supporting year-end accounts and improving financial processes.
About You
Previous experience in a varied finance or accounts role.
Experience with payroll and management accounts.
Good understanding of VAT, reconciliations and financial controls.
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
Confident working independently in a hands-on role.
AAT qualified, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience would be advantageous.
Experience with SAP, BrightPay or within an SME environment would be beneficial.
