Finance Manager

Location: Stockport - Office-based
Salary: £40k

A growing B2B technology services business is looking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to lead its finance function and support the next phase of growth.

This is a hands-on role with responsibility for day-to-day finance operations, commercial insight, cash flow management and strategic support to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the finance function, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts and budgets
Manage cash flow, payroll and statutory compliance
Own and optimise Xero and payment systems (including direct debits)
Improve financial processes, controls and reporting
Partner with leadership to provide commercial insight and decision support
Direct line management for 1 person

About You

AAT Qualified
Proven experience in people management
Strong Xero experience (essential)
Excellent commercial, analytical and cash flow management skills
Confident leader with a proactive, improvement-focused mindset
Experience in recurring revenue or B2B services is a plus
