Start your job searchThis high-growth retail start-up is looking for a Finance Manager (ACA/CIMA/ACCA equivalent) to join their team in central London (remote working initially). The brand has enjoyed early success and witnessed impressive year on year growth on products within the Media/Entertainment sectors. This is sole role as Finance Manager where you will play a key part in helping to shape the finance function and drive the business in a broad all-encompassing role.
Working closely with the CEO your responsibilities will include:
- Production of monthly management accounts, financial statements and KPI reporting with commentary and analysis
- Analysis of monthly/quarterly figures and advising on financial decision making process
- Analysing financial performance and forecasting longer term planning
- Preparation and posting of monthly accruals, prepayments and overall responsibility of accounts payable/receivable
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA equivalent) and eager to apply themselves in a fast growth environment. Previous experience within a start-up or growing SME business will be highly advantageous as would an interest in Media/Entertainment. The nature of the role would suit those comfortable with responsibility across all areas of finance (transactional through to advising on operational strategy). The successful Finance Manager will be have clear opportunity to shape and mould the role in line with the projected growth of the brand.
