Start your job searchWe are currently partnering with a leading finance solutions group that is focused on quality engagement and long-term relationships within their specialised field. There now exists a new opportunity for a qualified accountant to manage acquisition projects from an accounting perspective.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for planning and managing all finance team projects - both ad hoc and business as usual. You will play a pivotal part in providing due diligence on new acquisitions and integrating the finance functions of acquired companies. In addition, you will help with group accounting and consolidation requirements when needed in the team and help improve the finance and accounting structure overall.
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) and your background will demonstrate strong accounting and technical expertise, most likely from a chartered environment. You will have knowledge of merger and acquisitions accounting, statutory accounts, consolidations and ideally providing guidance in relation to finance projects. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to partner across the business and with senior stakeholders. This role is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to bring experience across due diligence, advisory and accounting together.
