An opportunity to join one of Hull strongest and most reputable employers as a Financial Accountant.
As Financial Accountant, you will report into the number one in finance and ensure the internal and external reporting requirements of the finance team are met.
Duties:
- Accurate weekly P&L reporting including analysis and commentary
- Analysis and explanation of performance
- Reconciliation of weekly to monthly accounts with no variances
- Maintain accurate input costs within the Commercial models
- Ensure that weekly and monthly reporting timelines are met
- Liaison with internal and external auditors
- Ensuring ledgers remain tidy and payments are made within terms
- Maximisation of working capital
- Complete monthly cash flow forecasting
- Reconciliation of control accounts
- Full month end accounts pack completion and submission to Group
- Assist the Financial Controller with ad hoc projects
- Ensuring all finance reporting and processes meet the requirements of internal and external audit requirements
Experience
- A qualified Accountant (Qualified by experience may be considered too)
- Prior experience within a financial environment - within industry and/or practice
- Strong technical finance experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
