Financial Accountant

Hull

As Financial Accountant, you will report into the number one in finance and ensure the internal and external reporting requirements of the finance team are met.

Duties:

• Accurate weekly P&L reporting including analysis and commentary
• Analysis and explanation of performance
• Reconciliation of weekly to monthly accounts with no variances
• Maintain accurate input costs within the Commercial models

• Ensure that weekly and monthly reporting timelines are met
• Liaison with internal and external auditors
• Ensuring ledgers remain tidy and payments are made within terms
• Maximisation of working capital
• Complete monthly cash flow forecasting
• Reconciliation of control accounts
• Full month end accounts pack completion and submission to Group
• Assist the Financial Controller with ad hoc projects
• Ensuring all finance reporting and processes meet the requirements of internal and external audit requirements

Experience

• A qualified Accountant (Qualified by experience may be considered too)
• Prior experience within a financial environment - within industry and/or practice
• Strong technical finance experience
• Strong communication and organisational skills
