Financial Accountant

A Leeds based Private equity backed business are hiring a new Financial Accountant.

This role will report into and support the Financial Controller in all aspects of finance.

Role:

• Produce necessary financial statements each month
• Produce weekly cash flow and ongoing updates to standard budget and forecasts
• Work with external auditors when required
• Facilitate month end
• VAT returns
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Provide reliable data analysis and reports to be used in critical business decision making

Requirements:

• A fully qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience working in industry ideally in a manufacturing or a similar environment
• Experience working closely with senior stakeholders and providing clear analysis and recommendations
• A strong technical Accountant, able to produce financial statements, Vat returns and balance sheet reconciliations
