Financial Accountant | Manchester City Centre | Hybrid 2 days in the office | £55,000

I am delighted to be partnering with a highly respected, people centric organisation to recruit a Financial Accountant. This role will play a key part in delivering high quality financial reporting, robust governance and reliable statutory accounts for a large, complex organisation based in the heart of Manchester.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

Maintaining accurate financial records and producing statutory financial statements
Providing technical accounting guidance and ensuring compliance with current standards
Supporting external audit activity and high‑quality external reporting
Working collaboratively across Finance teams and with external partners
Accurate reporting and strong governance needed to support major investment

What You'll Bring

Fully ACA/ ACCA Qualified
Strong technical accounting skills and up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant standards
Accuracy and attention to detail in preparing statements and working papers
Experience of working with auditors or financial institutions
