Start your job searchMarks Sattin are working with a leading manufacturing / distribution business recruiting for an experienced Financial Accountant to join the accounts / finance team. To maintain the integrity of the company's financial transaction processing and ensure that the company complies with group, statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
Summary:
* Responsible for the integrity of financial postings and the GL ensuring that all BS accounts are validated
* Provides technical support to the FC on statutory, regulatory and compliance issues.
* Supports FC with AR, AP and cash management issues * Oversees intercompany trading
* Supports FC to streamline financial processes and controls
Responsibilities:
* Preparing the monthly profit and loss & balance sheet reports
* Assisting, supporting with regulatory reporting
* Ensuring the integrity of financial processes, ledgers, records and controls
* Creating financial and KPI reports as required * Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data
* Rationalising and leaning financial processes and data
Job qualifications and requirements:
* Degree of qualified or Qualified / Finalist ACA or ACCA qualifications or CIMA or AAT qualifications
* Strong IT skills
* An analytical, challenging mindset
* Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
* Commercial and business awareness
* Good communication skills - both written and verbal
* A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
* Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraints
