Marks Sattin have been engaged by a educational organisation based in Bath to recruit a Financial Analyst on a interim basis with the potential to go permanent.The initial role will be 3 to 6 months.

The role will be paying circa £200 per day through umbrella.


This is a great opportunity to add value to the organisations established relationships and growing.



The Financial Analyst Role

This is going to be supporting the data sets based around the income being generated. Working closely with stakeholders across the business and supporting the existing reporting. You will be adaptable to strategic and operational priorities in a constantly evolving sector.



Key responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with the financial analyst to maintain and design models used in the 5-year plan.
  • Supporting the monthly reconciliation of income and highlighting variances to support the forecast.
  • Supporting in Month and Year-End across the wider finance team
  • Creating targeted reports relating to income and expenditure.
  • Working closely with the systems accountants.

Key Skills and Experience

  • AAT Qualified & proven data analysis skills.
  • Large data set experience.
  • Advanced skillsets with excel and financial modelling.
  • Report writing skills whilst looking into the variance analysis.
  • Proven ability to create, analyse and interpret financial reports and budgetary information.
