Start your job searchA leading international Irish PLC is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their high performing Group Accounting team.
You will carry out the external reporting for the business which will involve reviewing financial reporting packs, preparing financial statement notes and journals, performing controls, finalising disclosure checklists and being responsible for publication announcements.
The Group Accounting team presents practical solutions for accounting issues to a number of external teams in the business. You will assist in determining the optimal structures for deals, be involved in the preparation of opening balance sheets for all newly acquired businesses. Along with the above the team is involved in presenting at internal conferences, roll out training and responding the ad-hoc queries relating to IFRS.
You will interact with a number of internal divisions and teams (including mergers and acquisitions, business development and divestments) providing you with the opportunity to build a network of relationships.
You will have strong technical accounting abilities and knowledge of IFRS. You will be a newly qualified or have up to two years PQE with a strong track record with regards to college and professional exam results.
