Start your job searchI'm delighted to be working in partnership with a leading law firm to recruit a Financial & Tax Accountant for their team in Manchester.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Financial & Tax Accountant will be responsible Group's external reporting, including audit, corporation tax and VAT. Specific responsibilities include:
- Leading the day to day audit process
- Managing the corporate tax compliance process
- Managing the quarterly VAT return process
- Managing complex accounting aspects such as IFRS16 compliance
- Assisting in the Group restructuring process
- Managing relationships with external tax advisors
The successful candidate will be ACA qualified with experience in managing an audit and a good understanding of corporation tax and VAT. Excellent IT and analytical skills are also essential, as is the ability to prioritise workload efficiently. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are also required to build credible relationships with senior stakeholders.
