Role - Financial Controller Location - Altrincham Salary - Between £60,000 and £70,000 + benefits

Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a growing niche manufacturing business in their search for a Financial Controller to work out of their Altrincham office.

The successful candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a strong academic background. Strong technical accounting skills are absolutely essential and any experience of working within manufacturing or construction would be a distinct advantage. Advanced Excel skills are crucial and any exposure to working with an ERP system would be a distinct advantage. Excellent staff management skills are crucial as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. Any exposure to Key duties for the Financial Controller role will involve:

  • Responsible for month-end close
  • Cashflow analysis
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Variance analysis and reporting on trends
  • KPI Reporting
  • Statutory accounts production
  • Lead in the development and improvement of processes, controls and systems
  • Management of the finance team

Salary for the role is anywhere between £60,000 and £70,000
