As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Responsibility for all month end reporting across central cost departments ensuring accuracy, completeness and that all deadlines are achieved
- Managing the month end close process
- Responsibility for preparation of the month end reporting packs for the Board, external investors and debt providers
- Leading the annual audit and accounts prep process
- Finance lead on all relevant systems
- Implementing systems and controls improvements across the Group
- Ownership of the Group VAT reporting and assisting with wider Group tax compliance
- Assisting with formulation of budget and forecast for central cost department
- Be the internal lead for all technical accounting queries
- Weekly Cashflow forecasting
- Leading a team of four
Qualifications, skills and experience required for the position of Financial Controller:
- You must be ACA or ACCA qualified
- Excellent technical accounting knowledge
- Strong communication skills to liaise with senior leaders
- Well organised with the ability to deal with multiple projects and priorities
This role is paying circa £80,000 to £90,000 per annum as well as offering a competitive benefits package including pension, healthcare, hybrid working and much more.
