Financial Controller - Opportunity with a Global, High‑Growth Logistics Business

Location: London Heathrow
Employment: Full‑time

I am looking for a commercially minded finance leader ready to take ownership of the full financial function for a fast‑growing international logistics business.

In this pivotal role, you'll oversee all financial operations, deliver accurate reporting, drive profitability, and partner closely with senior leadership to influence strategic decisions.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Leading financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting cycles
• Managing cash flow and ensuring strong financial controls
• Analysing profitability across shipments, branches, and regions
• Overseeing month‑end processes and statutory compliance
• Partnering with operational teams to identify efficiencies and drive performance
• Supporting European territories with oversight of accounting and filings
• Acting as a trusted adviser to senior leadership
• Mentoring and developing finance team members

Requirements:

• Fully qualified or QBE accountant
• Strong experience in financial management (logistics/supply chain advantageous)
• Excellent analytical capabilities and advanced Excel/ERP skills
• A hands‑on, solutions‑focused mindset
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, continually evolving environment
