Start your job searchA reputable technology communications agency based in Central London is currently seeking a Financial Controller to join the business.
Reporting in to the Divisional Finance Director, you will be responsible for:
- Monthly reporting to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
- Managing and preparation of month end management accounts, including P&L forecasts and balance sheet
- Balance sheet and revenue reconciliation
- Provide strategic support to the business and working closely with the CEO and senior management team
- Cash flow management and forecasting
- Analyse key business trends and monitoring KPIs around client profitability and utilisation
- Group financial reporting, updating and uploading information to the Group accounting tool, TM1
- Financial year-end reporting to Group, including tax pack and statutory accounts preparation in accordance with IFRS
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
- Develop annual budgets and financial plans for the company
- FX revaluation of debtors and creditors, WIP and pre-billed expenses
- Suggest updates and improvements for internal processes, in particular revenue reporting and timesheets
- VAT returns and monthly EC sales reports with submission to Group
- Review payroll, complete year end returns, P11D and PSA submissions, and payment of all liabilities to HMRC
The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/ CIMA) with around 2-3 years post-qualified experience. Candidates should have good working knowledge of both management and statutory accounts preparation. Ideally you will have strong communication skills with the ability to work with stakeholders at all level and present information clearly, especially to non-financial users. Candidates who are keen, driven and ambitious to develop as the business continues to grow will be best suited.
