Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for an Order-to-Cash (O2C) Manager on behalf of a leading organization in West Yorkshire. This is a critical appointment within the Commercial Finance function, designed for a specialist to take full operational ownership of the revenue lifecycle.

The Role

This role is responsible for the operational ownership, governance, and optimization of the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process across the UK and Ireland. You will ensure the commercial operating model-from order creation through to invoicing and cash collection-runs efficiently and predictably.

As the independent process owner, you will define the workflows, KPIs, and standards that departments must follow. This is an individual contributor role with no direct line management responsibilities, focusing instead on process architecture and operational discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Ownership: Manage the entire O2C lifecycle, including deal structuring, contract execution, billing, and revenue recognition.
• Operational Governance: Act as the final authority on all O2C workflow changes to ensure consistent execution across the business.
• Process Design: Map and document scalable operating models to support growth and identify opportunities for system automation.
• Performance Metrics: Manage and report on key KPIs such as Billing Accuracy, DSO, and the Cash Conversion Cycle.
• Systems Integration: Partner with IT to ensure data consistency across ERP platforms (IFS) and billing tools.

Candidate Profile

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the O2C lifecycle and revenue operations.
• Stakeholder Influence: Proven ability to drive operational standards and resolve process bottlenecks across different departments.
• Analytical Skills: Experience building operational dashboards to provide visibility into revenue performance.
• Systems Experience: Proficiency with ERP systems (specifically IFS) and quoting tools is highly desirable.
