Our client is a leading in global services innovation and consulting firm. With a continued focus on delivering excellence to a large diverse client base they are keen to bolster their Complex Financial Modelling team with a technically strong Financial Modeller.
Given the nature of their work the current period of instability and reliance on forecasting models they have seen a considerable increase in demand for their skills and services.
Details:
- Focus on supporting clients in the valuation of complex securities such as:
- Developing complex derivatives valuations with delicate detail given to such financial instruments as American options, exotic options, share-based payments (IFRS2 and ASC 718) and Interest rate and FX derivatives. - Create Financial Models for private equity transactions where there is a reliance on fundamentals across fixed income instruments (loans, non-recourse/convertible/callable loans, financial guarantees etc.
- Continue to build upon financial models for early stage investor firms that have issued securities based on complex (multi-class) capital structures.
- Ensure focus is given to contingent consideration agreements & Embedded derivatives (IAS 9 and IFRS 9).
Looking For/Opportunity
This is an extremely unique opportunity where the successful candidate will have the flexibility to utilise their considerable technical skills and be free to develop complex financial models for a diverse client base.
The ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified to a least Masters level, with a strong Modelling flavour within their academics. 3 years plus experience within Financial Modelling or Financial Engineering will be seen as somewhat of a necessity for the role given the complex nature of the business.
This is an opportunity to be involved in the generation of some extremely complex financial models within a Financial Services setting but also with wider implications and opportunities across the business as their expertise and service line have grown dramatically due to #Covid-19.
