💰 £55,000 - £65,000 DOE + Benefits

Are you a commercially-minded FP&A professional who thrives on turning financial and operational data into strategic insight?
We're partnering with an established organisation to appoint an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. This is a key role providing financial insight, forecasting, performance analysis and strategic decision support to senior leadership.
This opportunity offers significant exposure across the business, supporting financial planning, management reporting, scenario modelling and strategic decision making. You'll play an instrumental role in helping leaders understand performance drivers, identify opportunities and support long-term business objectives.
The Opportunity
Working closely with the senior finance team and key stakeholders across the organisation, you'll deliver meaningful analysis and reporting that supports business performance, planning and investment decisions.
You'll lead the development of management information, enhance forecasting capability and provide commercial insight that helps drive improved decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the production and enhancement of Executive and Board-level management information packs
- Develop KPI frameworks, dashboards and performance reporting
- Deliver budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and scenario analysis
- Analyse business performance and provide actionable recommendations
- Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to support decision making
- Drive reporting improvements, automation initiatives and process efficiencies
- Support strategic projects, business change initiatives and transformation programmes
- Provide financial analysis to support investment and growth decisions
- Develop and strengthen controls and governance across planning and reporting processes
About You
We're looking for a qualified finance professional who combines strong technical skills with a commercial mindset and the ability to influence stakeholders.
You'll ideally bring:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
- Strong FP&A, Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering experience
- Excellent financial modelling, forecasting and analytical skills
- Experience presenting business performance insights to senior stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate data into meaningful recommendations
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset
Desirable Experience
- Financial Services experience, particularly within regulated environments
- Exposure to business transformation, strategic change programmes or system implementations
- Power BI, Tableau or similar reporting and visualisation tools
- Experience improving reporting processes, data quality and management information capabilities
