Start your job searchOur client is a leading Global provider of Fund consultancy services who are expanding and are looking to recruit a Financila Reporting Manager. This a newly created department and there is a blank canvass regarding career progression.
The position:
An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Financial Reporting Manager to join their Dublin Office. You will be responsible for the day to day management the Financial Reporting team, and for supervising and assisting the staff with all the functions of the Financial Reporting department.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all established financial reporting procedures and controls are updated at least on an annual basis, reviewed and followed accurately by the team.
- Allocating workload among the team and reviewing the output to ensure a high level of quality
- Managing a team of 4-5 accountants who are undertaking the core duties assigned to the team;
- Supervise staff on systems, procedures and job responsibilities
- Train, coach and mentor new employees, develop and motivate staff within their Department
- Serve as a primary point of contact with other departments and senior management
Requirements
- 5+ years' cumulative experience with investment/funds companies
- Professional Accountancy Qualification
- Experience in supervisory / management skills and/or coaching / mentoring.
- Fluency in English Language (both verbal and written) essential.
- Individual who takes initiative and ownership of assigned responsibilities.
