FP&A / Management Accountant - Brokerage/Trading Firm (6 month Contract)

We have really interesting job opportunity for a financial planning & analysis contractor, working for brokerage/securities trading firm.

Daily rate - up to £400pd via umbrella depending on experience

Hybrid working, 3 days in the office

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the FP&A Manager with updating the budgets and forecasts
  • Provide variance analysis and commentary against monthly results
  • Producing month end management accounts and commentary
  • Posting journals
  • Financial control - providing

What we are looking for in the candidate:

  • Must be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, CPA, ACA)
  • Ideally have 3-7 years FP&A experience
  • Must have worked within a brokerage, trading, banking or asset management sector
  • Advanced excel skills required, used to building models, formulae,
  • Strong financial control / management accounts experience - debits & credits
  • Excellent communication skills
