Global Finance Process Owner
Shape the Future of a Global Finance Function
We're seeking an experienced Global Finance Process Owner to join a high-profile organisation in a strategic leadership role reporting directly to the CFO.
This is a rare opportunity to become the CFO's trusted partner in driving finance transformation, process excellence and digital optimisation across a complex environment. Sitting alongside senior finance leaders, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future finance operating model, ensuring the organisation maximises value from its Oracle Fusion investment while identifying opportunities to leverage automation, analytics and AI.
This role is far more than process management. We are looking for a commercially minded finance leader capable of bringing external best practice, influencing senior stakeholders and driving long-term strategic change.
The Opportunity
Following a major Oracle Fusion implementation, the organisation is entering the next phase of its transformation journey. The focus is now on stabilisation, optimisation and continuous improvement.
As Global Finance Process Owner, you will:
- Own and govern end-to-end finance processes, with a particular focus on Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R).
- Develop and execute a multi-year roadmap for process optimisation, automation and standardisation.
- Lead the ongoing enhancement and adoption of Oracle Fusion across the finance function.
- Partner closely with Digital & Technology teams to define future system capabilities and improvements.
- Champion the use of AI, automation and advanced analytics to improve finance operations and decision-making.
- Establish and develop a Finance Process Centre of Excellence.
- Drive governance, controls and process consistency across the organisation.
- Act as a key member of the Finance Leadership Team, influencing strategic decisions and organisational priorities.
- Lead and develop a Finance Process Manager while providing broader leadership across the finance community.
About You
We're looking for an individual who combines strong finance credentials with large-scale transformation experience.
You'll ideally have:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Significant experience operating within complex finance environments.
- A proven track record of leading finance transformation and process improvement programmes.
- Strong Oracle Fusion ERP experience, ideally including post-go-live optimisation and benefits realisation.
- Deep understanding of core finance processes, particularly P2P and R2R, with a working knowledge of O2C and tax.
- Experience engaging with senior finance stakeholders and influencing at executive level.
- Strong knowledge of controls, governance, process design and finance operating models.
- Exposure to automation, AI, workflow tools or advanced analytics initiatives.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery.
Why Apply?
This is an opportunity to step into a genuinely influential position where you'll:
- Report directly to the CFO.
- Sit alongside senior finance leaders including Heads of Function.
- Shape the future direction of finance transformation.
- Drive meaningful change across systems, processes and people.
- Build a best-in-class finance process capability.
- Help define how emerging technologies, including AI, are adopted within finance.
- Bring external best practice into an organisation committed to continuous improvement.
