Start your job searchA group of UK companies with products sold globally are looking to add a Group Accountant to work in their head office function based in central London.
Working in a small team and reporting in to the Group Fiance Director, you will be responsible for a wide variety of accounting tasks including producing monthly management accounts, preparing statutory accounts, preparing annual audit packs and support all 15 group businesses with ad hoc accounting tasks and queries.
Duties:
- Preparing and posting month end journals, accruals prepayments etc
- Preparing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing VAT returns
- Preparing statutory accounts
- Prepare annual audit file
- Assist with producing monthly board packs
- Processing and paying purchase invoices
- Ownership of preparing weekly, monthly and annual order reports and analysis
- Ad hoc support across the group
The successful candidate will ideally be part qualified/finalist ACCA or CIMA and enjoy working in a small team.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential
Sage 50 & 100 experience is desirable
