Start your job searchMarks Sattin are working alongside a large business in Doncaster who are looking to recruit a Group Finance Manager. This is an extremely varied and progressive role which is newly created. Duties will include:
- Provide financial accounting support the monthly management reporting process to ensure the consolidation is robust.
- Ensure the management reporting information produced using consolidation tools, is reconciled with and consistent with our audited annual accounts
- Provide accounting technical support to the business on proposed ventures and impact assessments of new financial reporting pronouncements
- Financial modelling; to facilitate the production of business plans and reporting for technical accounting and corporate entities
- Completion of other ad hoc reporting requirements.
- Manage the production of the statutory accounts for all Group entities including subsidiaries including full IFRS consolidated reports including liaison with auditors.
- Manage and produce the full Group statutory consolidations as part of the annual reporting process and drive improvement in the consolidation process in terms of both efficiency of the process and the quality and robustness of the output.
- Work towards annual report and other accounts - including processes, timetable and content of reporting
- Drive acceleration in audit process by working with the wider finance team
- Lead on the new accounting standards, including determining application of policy an implementation in the business.
The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified and have experience within a large business, whether this be from an auditing or internal prospective.
