An exciting opportunity has arisen within an AIM listed Energy and Renewable brand who are looking for a Group Financial Controller to join their team in central London. The business has grown rapidly through a number of successful acquisitions and with further growth opportunities in the pipeline. This is a key role in leading a team ensuring responsibility for financial reporting for the Group.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading across financial reporting for the Group, ensuring accurate and timely monthly/half-year reporting
• Supporting in the production of the monthly board pack as well as leading in the preparation of Group consolidation under IFRS across a number of entities
• Ownership of across cashflow forecasting/management and ensuring accounting operations across the Group are supported effectively
• Providing support for the budgeting and re-forecasting process for the Group
• Supporting the development and best practice of finance systems
• Reviewing existing processes and identifying/implementing improvements across controls

The ideal candidate will be qualified (ACA/ACCA equivalent) with relevant post qualified experience within industry. Prior experience leading a team within a fast paced environment is essential, exposure within Energy/Renewables highly advantageous. You will possess a strong technical accounting skill-set, excellent communication skills and proven ability to take ownership and use initiative.
