Marks Sattin are delighted to be working in partnership with an industry leading plc in West Yorkshire to recruit a Group Tax Manager.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to work for a household name in a newly created role that will allow the business to retain tax expertise in house. Working closely with the Group Financial Controller, Head of Management Accounts, and commercial finance team, the successful candidate will have oversight of the Groups direct and indirect tax responsibilities.

In order to be successful you must be ACA/CTA qualified (or equivalent), have circa 5+ years post qualified experience, and it is essential that you've worked in a specialist corporate tax or VAT role in the past. Previous experience of working in a mixed role would be advantageous, but not essential, as the business does use external advisors for support. It is vital that you are commercially minded and that you possess outstanding interpersonal skills in order to manage relationships with senior stakeholders and HMRC.
