Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a well-known North Yorkshire based manufacturing business who are looking for a Head of Commercial Finance. This is a newly created role and a very exciting time for the business, and would offer fantastic career progression for the right candidate.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Accountability for analysing, forecasting, and reporting across all areas of the Commercial Finance.
  • To provide and drive recommendations for margin improvement and provide guidance on investment decisions.
  • Manage the development of systems, processes and reporting to drive forward the team's support to the wider business.
  • Manage requests from HQ around the provision of information and strategy for and from the UK & Ireland businesses.
  • Manage and Lead Ad-hoc projects that are required with a Finance and Strategic focus.
  • Lead and develop the team to achieve and exceed their business goals.
  • Work closely with senior staff to ensure adherence to guidelines and accounting standards and achieve department goals for continuous improvement.
  • Be part of and contribute to the success of the Commercial Leadership Team and contribute to the strategic direction of the business.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) candidate with extensive commercial and manufacturing experience. Excellent communication skills are required, with the ability to advise, challenge and influence
