The Role: Head of Compliance & MLRO

A fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading fintech in private markets solutions at an exciting stage of their growth. They are looking for a hands-on and dynamic compliance leader to step in as the Head of Compliance & MLRO. You'll be driving the development and implementation of a robust compliance framework, while acting as the designated compliance officer for the MIFID-regulated entity.



This is a high-impact role where you'll shape the company's compliance culture, ensuring strong governance across the UK and Europe. As MLRO / RC for the Luxembourg entity, you'll advise the business on global monitoring obligations and make sure compliance is adhered to across the organisation.



The Role:

• Ensure the company remains fully compliant with UK, Luxembourg and EU regulatory requirements
• Stay ahead of all regulatory changes, thereby advising senior management on all risks and obligations
• Build and maintain the firm's compliance framework, including policies, procedures and controls
• Produce and manage internal and external compliance reporting, escalating any findings to senior management
• Deliver compliance training and guidance to staff, ensuring there is a strong compliance culture across the business

Prior Experience:

• Experienced and qualified (ICA, CAMS, or CISI) compliance professional with 7+ years' experience, ideally within Financial Services, Investment Management or Private Banking in Luxembourg
• Strong knowledge of AIFMD & MIFID regulations, with experience in AML, CFT and KYC frameworks
• Fluent in English. French or German speakers would be a bonus
• Knowledge of using AI in compliance related tasks will be an advantage
