This Head of Fund Accounting role is a superb career opportunity at one of the best names in the industry for a Senior Finance professional with Fund Experience

This is a key hire within the business. You will be part of the senior management team and will head up a team which has been earmarked as high growth and key part of the businesses strategy. As such, this is both a strategic team development role and a business builder role for the London office.

As a member of the UK Management team:

  • Actively contribute in the day-to-day management of the UK business and the defining and implementation of strategic objectives
  • Translate Group strategy to the UK and Fund team objectives and support the management team and directors to achieve objectives
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Risk Management strategy, policy & procedures
  • Ensure that risk management policies and procedures are implemented

Financial

  • Manage the performance of the Fund Accounting Team
  • Support the development of a coherent jurisdiction business plan and budget which reflects and anticipates the delivery of the overall Funds Accounting strategic goals, budgets and business plans

People & Team

  • Lead and develop the allocated teams to enable delivery of expected performance outcomes. Lead the service delivery teams in the delivery of objectives
  • Demonstrate effective leadership and management in accordance with firms values and with agreed policies and procedures which are compliant with current laws and regulations
  • Drive personal development to achieve success

Investor relations

  • Drive the achievement of the Funds Accounting Team's specific business development goals through proactive management and development of key relationships
  • Manage a portfolio of relationships, acting as client relationship manager
  • Proactively support the Funds Accounting Team to ensure that services are effectively delivered and the development of new business is enhanced

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) with a solid knowledge of relevant, local accounting standards
  • A high performer with a proven track record of delivering results, overseeing complex relationships and developing teams
  • First class knowledge of Funds structuring techniques and the regulatory environment relating to Alternative Investment Funds with specific knowledge of Real Estate, Private Equity and/or Private Debt
  • Keen to hear from candidates in a funds based role (inhouse/fund admin) or from a practice background auditing investment managers.
