A Telecommunications Service Provider based in Berkshire is currently recruiting for an Interim Head of Operations. This is a great opportunity for someone experienced in managing and consolidating IT operations teams, as well as making judgements with operational or financial impacts. It will also require the comprehensive handover of know-how and new concepts to others.
Key Responsibilities
- Control and improve standards and practices across the service delivery life cycle
- Manage IT Service Delivery processes, Service Level Agreements, escalations and problems with customers
- Ensure that service delivery is meeting agreed SLA's and OLA's in line with contractual agreements and following through agreed principles
- Carry out regular service reviews (both on and off site)
- Integrate and optimize support functions
Key Skills & Experience
- The Head of Operations will have extensive experience in managing teams and the implementation of projects
- Demonstrable experience of managing a team of operations persons at multiple levels in both technical and customer support functions
- Service Desk management principals and processes experience
- Previous experience operating within a business of large contracts within the IT services/telecommunications industry would be highly advantageous
- Experience working within M2M or IOT environments would be highly desirable
- Additional exposure to or involvement in the SDLC would be desirable
- ITIL qualified
