About the Role

Marks Sattin are delighted to be working along an excellent oragnisation who are looking for a Finace officer to join the business on a 6 months FTC basis.

This role will involve:

• Interacting with suppliers, customers and internal departments regarding financial matters
• Processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements and responding to queries.
• Managing mailbox traffic - prioritising and organising the flow of emails, ensuring urgent and important communications are addressed promptly.
• Supporting weekly and month-end processes and maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems
• Building strong working relationships to support the delivery of timely financial services.

Essential:

• Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role
• Confident working with numbers with an ability to spot errors
• Well organised, able to manage deadlines and handle multiple responsibilities
• Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Teams.
• Basic accounting knowledge - understanding invoices, debits, credits, reconciliations, resolving account discrepancies etc.
