Start your job searchMarks Sattin are currently working with an organisation based in North Newcastle who are looking to appoint a Financial Controller on an interim basis.
This role will suit an experienced interim professional who is used to supporting businesses through periods of change. Working as the Interim Financial Controller, you will lead a finance and accounting team to ensure financial reporting is complete, along with implementing accounting, controls, and compliance procedures.
Your responsibilities will include evaluating and strengthening accounting processes, designing and monitoring controls and systems, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and providing mentorship on sophisticated financial accounting transactions. Additionally, you will lead internal and external audit requirements and drive continuous improvement.
This role is expected to last a period of 4 - 6 months. Daily rate of £350 per day.
