The business was established in 2014 as the platform for expanding the parent company into the UK Energy Market. They have grown rapidly in the UK having acquired 3 power generating assets between 2014 and 2017 and has recently agreed the acquisition of a further 2 assets in Ireland, with completion expected in the summer 2019.
It has a trading office and business development office in London and a centralised support office in Leeds. The parent company is an operations-orientated investor with a strong background in pursuing growth opportunities across the energy sector. With more than 50 companies across 6 countries, and 25,000 employees, they have established a solid track record of continued organic and acquisitive growth. Due to the large acquisition in Ireland, they are hiring this position to work within and lead the integrations team on a 6 month interim basis The role will work closely with the Head of Finance, integration team and the SLT in delivering the successful acquisition and integration of current and future assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mapping and documenting SAP business processes including;
- Existing seller processes to understand the process flows.
- New processes required for independent SAP setup.
- Identifying any gaps in the SAP setup which require amending in order to operate outside the seller's SAP system.
- Researching, evaluating and recommending any appropriate SAP solutions required to integrate the finance function into EPUKI.
- Researching, evaluating and recommending any appropriate SAP solutions required where bolt on applications are not being carved out.
- Work closely with the IT integrations team.
- Assist and train finance team members on SAP processes and usability.
The post holder should be a qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified). It is imperative that you are comfortable working in a fast paced, ever changing and transformative business on a large scale.
