IT Assurance Manager | Central London | Professional Services

An excellent opportunity to join a newly formed division within a global Professional Services firm in their luxurious Central London offices.

Overview

The IT Security & Governance function has recently been established in line with the strategic objectives of the business. The IT Assurance Manager will support the team head in developing the teams function requirements in a fast paced environment. As the internal IT Assurance Manager you will have primary responsibility for performing improvement audits whilst overseeing the general day execution of governance related tasks within the IT environment. The focus of this position will be to participate in all aspects of IT general controls including but not limited to; risk assessments, planning, documentation, management reporting, testing, review and of course follow-up to ensure resolution of any identified weaknesses

Responsibilities

Deliver services in a consistent, predictable manner by executing against a consistent delivery framework, aligned to industry standards of relevance and tailored to ensure they are both pragmatic and suitable for use within IT to support the business.
Review, improve and implement improvements identified by ISC, CISO resources, ensuring they remain aligned to the internal DRMM Framework and external quality standards.
Assist the management team to mentor & coach the governance of activities within Customer Services & Security against the Quality Management Systems.
Assuring successful outcome of IT service delivery & security within IT by means of stringent and robust governance and auditing by adherence to the defined Quality processes, controls and Tools
Manage the Governance framework for the IT Service & Security scope, framework and methodology, ensuring regular reviews, health check assessments and continual Service Improvement activities are successfully executed and reported upon.

Requirements

  • Experience in delivering and managing Enterprise Governance and Assurance activities
  • Strong ISO27001/ITIL/COBIT experience
  • Experience of security controls and service delivery best practice.
  • Proven experience of governance and assurance for IT Service delivery and Security activities within an organisation.
  • Demonstrable experience in ServiceNow's GRC module
  • Strong experience of implementing governance supporting best practice frameworks
  • Successful experience of working with Quality Managers in the assessment & auditing on policies and procedures
