The details
IT Business Analyst - Asset Finance
London (hybrid - 3 days per week in office)
Up to £55,000 per annum
A financial services organisation is seeking an IT Business Analyst to support ongoing system change and application delivery within an Asset Finance environment. This role sits within a change and technology function and plays a key part in ensuring core Asset Finance systems continue to meet business needs through effective analysis, change delivery and stakeholder engagement.
This is a hands‑on role, suited to someone who enjoys working close to operational users, vendors and technology teams, taking ownership of requirements, changes and testing throughout the full change lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include working closely with business stakeholders to analyse issues and requirements, producing clear functional documentation, and supporting the delivery of system enhancements and change initiatives. You will act as a point of contact for Asset Finance applications, supporting incident resolution, coordinating change requests, and managing relationships with third‑party system vendors.
The role also includes planning and executing system testing, supporting releases into production, and producing clear user documentation and procedures. You will contribute to maintaining high system availability and a positive user experience while ensuring changes are delivered in line with governance and internal controls.
The ideal candidate will have experience working as an IT Business Analyst or Change Analyst within financial services, with exposure to banking or lending platforms. Experience within Asset Finance is beneficial but not essential. You should be comfortable working across the full change lifecycle, including requirements definition, testing, release coordination and stakeholder management. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst looking to take ownership of change in a collaborative environment which values quality delivery and continuous improvement.
