Start your job searchYour new organisation is a well known organisation in Aviation based in Luton, you will be reporting into the Head of IT and managing a team of 1st Line, 2nd Line and Network Engineers, primarily based on site.
You will be responsible for:
- The day to day operations of the IT Operations including management of the Infrastructure and exisiting team.
- You will work to organise and streamline the workload of the team to create a defined team structure with well defined roles.
- You will implement and maintain IT service management policies.
- Work with the Project Delivery team and third parties to plan and coordinate the upgrade of major infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain cloud support capabilities.
- Oversee Cyber Security and ensure required data protection and controls are in place.
In order to be successful in this role, you will posess strong experience managing the IT Operations of a medium or large organisation including Infrastructure along with Service Desk. You will also have demonstrable experience contributing to IT Infrastrcture upgrade projects, exposure to maintaining Cyber Security policies and knowledge of implementing service management best practices.
This role requies on site presence 3-4 days per week.
