A growing health science group based in Hatton Cross are looking to add a Junior Accountant to their team.

You will be responsible for Responsible for daily download and posting of bank statements and ownership of the cashbook, Monthly booking of prepayments & accruals, Monthly preparation of some balance sheet reconciliations, Assisting in producing Management Accounts with variance analysis for review by Finance Manager, monthly reconciliation of intercompany accounts, assisting with capex reporting. You will also be responsible for providing support to the finance team to ensure Finance deliverables are met, providing BUMAs with reports and analysis - standard and ad hoc and supporting the budget & forecast process, following up on any queries and Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement.

The successful candidate will either be a recent graduate with work experience within finance gained in placement year/internships looking to start an accountancy qualification or you will be an AAT studier with experience gained in a practical environment. You will also be able to work independently as well as part of a team. This role will offer extremely broad exposure to all areas of finance. In this role, it will require 4 days in the office per week and 1 day from home with scope for it to go up to 2 days from home.
