Start your job searchA FTSE listed business within the telecoms space is currently seeking an M&A Manager to join their fast pace team.
This is a key support role for evaluating and executing multi-billion dollar M&A transactions that are high profile and strategically important for the group. You will be responsible for:
- M&A project work on all aspects of evaluating transactions including negotiation, valuation, due diligence matters, internal approvals and interaction with other departments across the business
- Produce analysis to enable informed decision-making on merits, risks and implications of an acquisition or disposal by senior management and the Board.
- Prepare and review Due Diligence data rooms and reports
- Prepare detailed valuation and financial effects models for potential acquisitions and disposals.
- Maintain valuation scenario analysis on specific M&A targets including tracking other transactions in the sector and competitors
- Develop documentation for projects and meetings including internal presentations for the board
This role would best suit candidates who enjoy solving problems and working alongside others, can take direction but is also proactive and is willing and able to work under their own initiative. Ideally you will be degree qualified (Economics, Finance or Business useful), plus finance and accounting background or an MBA would be useful. You will have extensive experience of financial modelling and valuation with significant practical experience of Excel. Strong relationship building skills and management skills are essential with the ability to deal with diverse cultures and work effectively in a matrix environment essential.
