Management Accountant - Abingdon (hybrid)- £35,000 to £38,000

We are pleased to be working with this NASDAQ listed, multi-billion pound turnover company based in Abingdon as they search for a junior Management Accountant to join the team. This will suit someoner that has experience in a similar role, currently studying either ACCA or CIMA as the role can also offer study support for the right individual, you'll be working closely with the Finance Business Partners & Senior Management Accountants.

A little bit about the role....

• You'll be;
• Preparing financial statements for review and distribution to the Senior Management Accountant to monitor performance against budget on a monthly basis
• Helping with sales and purchase ledger, including the preparation of payment runs
• Preparing and reviewing balance sheet recs, ensuring the balance sheet is accurate
• Preparing quarterly VAT returns
• Preparing monthly financial reports by inputting journal entries, preparing and actioning accruals and prepayments
• Assist with the production of annual budgets and forecasts working alongside other Management Accountants
• Work alongside the shared services to make sure AP and cash is posted accurately and on time

A little bit about you....

• You'll need to be able to work well under pressure
• Excellent IT skills inclusive of Excel
• The ability to provide clearly written material for distribution to various different stakeholders
• ACCA or CIMA studier
• Experience using Oracle & Sage is an advantage but NOT essential
