Marks Sattin are currently working with a leading Doncaster based manufacturing company to assist in the recruitment of a Management Accountant. This is an extremely important hire for the company as you will be responsible for the full end to end accounts for a subsidiary business. The business are looking for somebody who wants to take on the challenge of taking this from a scratch start, implementing new processes, structures, procedures etc. You will need to be tenacious and hungry to make the opportunity your own.

Responsibilities;

• Ownership of management accounting processes and outputs.
• Posting of journal entries, preparation of control account reconciliations.
• Production of monthly management accounts.
• Close working relationship with relevant commercial finance business partners to ensure appropriate treatment and presentation of transactions and results.

Skills;

• CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified
• Experience of running journal processing and accounts preparation
• Open Accounts knowledge an advantage
• Strong understanding of double entry and rigorous approach to control and reconciliation practices
• Ability to investigate and understand detailed processes while retaining focus on broader objectives
• Good level of Excel
• Communication and interpersonal skills; relationship-building and interdepartmental working
• Change management experience beneficial
