Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, related reports and commentary
- Prepare or assist in the preparation of forecasts
- Prepare other ad hoc reports as required
- Monitor and report on cashflow
- Work with the finance team to agree inter-company reconciliations
- Liaise with the team on any issues/discrepancies with the monthly management accounts or reconciliations and work with the team to resolve any queries
- Assist in audit queries and information for preparation of statutory accounts
- Prepare tax returns, such as VAT reports
- Maintain controls and processes
- Coach other members of the team on accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll matters. Support them to resolve problems and queries.
- The above list of responsibilities is not exhaustive, and you may be required to undertake other responsibilities and training as requested by your line manager.
Requirements: Essential
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Good level of Excel skills and overall IT literacy
- Strong communication skills with a need to be able to communicate with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Deliver accurate output within agreed deadlines
- Latter stages of CIMA/ACCA/Newly qualified
- Understanding of accounting systems
