An international events company, specialising in the sports, betting and gaming industry, are seeking an experienced Management Accountant, reporting into the Group Financial controller.

Role and responsibilities:

• Financial reporting and month-close activities
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Overseeing the Group's financial data and compliance
• Maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable
• Maintaining daily financial entries and weekly reconciliations
• Managing the monthly payroll process
• Assisting with preparation of sales commissions
• Preparation and submission of HMRC returns and international compliance
• Supporting Group FC and Finance Controller with the year-end process and annual statutory accounts
• Being proactive in identifying opportunities to automate and improve processes
• Intercompany balances management
• Reconciling events budgets
• Assisting in preparing annual budgets

This role is perfect for a highly organised and self-motivated individual with a strong academic record, at finalist level or newly qualified (ACCA/CIMA). You must have excellent communication skills and ideally have experience working in a high-growth environment, preferably across multiple entities.
