A fast growing SME within Property and Consultancy is currently looking for a qualified (ACA/CIMA equivalent) Management Accountant to join their expanding team in central London. The business specialises in creating high-end developments with an international presence and a leading reputation. This is a newly created role to support the senior leadership team through their next phase.

Reporting to the Financial Controller your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including preparation of P&L with analytical review, balance sheet and cash flow statements
• Effective business partnering with various teams including projects and operations to support commercial decision making
• Supporting the Financial Controller through review of existing processes/controls and advising and implementing improvements
• Preparation and review of quarterly VAT returns and submission of regulatory/statutory returns

The successful Management Accountant will be qualified (ACA/CIMA equivalent) with up to 2 years PQE, prior experience within industry will be highly advantageous. Previous exposure within a fast-paced and/or projects focused environment will also be key. The nature of the role will require those with proven ability to use initiative, take ownership and challenge the status quo to drive improvements. You will be required to develop key relationships with a variety of stakeholders in order to challenge and influence effectively.
