A part qualified Management Accountant position covering off month end accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, budget reports and more. A well known name in the education sector in the local Reading area, our clients have big expansion plans for this year.

Part Qualified Management Accountant - Reading (Hybrid) - £40,000 to £50,000

Description

As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for:

  • Preparation of accurate and timely financial and management reports, to include, but not limited to:
  • Monthly management accounts
  • Half year and full year, Monthly and Quarterly reporting packs
  • Annual Budget and periodic Forecast preparation with detailed support
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Financial, commercial and project analysis to support the business
  • Ensure transactions are correctly posted within the balance sheet and P&L's in accordance with the correct accounting treatment and standards
  • Business partnering to ensure key business drivers are understood by the wider business and actions taken to improve business performance
  • Assist the Finance Manager with month-end and year-end close processes

Profile

  • Experience in a similar Management Accountant role ideally
  • Experience working in the Education sector ideal but NOT a must have
  • Part-Qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA
  • Technically strong, with a high level of financial and management accounting expertise is essential
  • Strong Excel skills
