Our client, a growing division of a sizeable European business located within easy reach of the M62/M6 are currently searching for an new Finance Manager to join their UK team.

This is a fabulous role where you would be fully responsible for the Finance function for the UK business, reporting into the Managing Director but with a dotted line into the European Finance Director. You would be fully responsible for the production of management accounts for the UK, but also business partnering with non financial managers to analyse performance, ensure budgets are set and adhered to and work very closely with Board Directors to aid in strategic decision making to steer the overall business. Although stand alone to begin with, you will be tasked with recruiting and managing a couple of direct reports so the ability to lead and motivate a small team would be desirable.

The ideal candidate will be fully Qualified (or equivalent) and possess a solid background in financial analysis, group reporting and advanced Excel. Preferably you would also have previous experience in logistics and or retail and stock experience would also be especially useful.
